David Engel serves as Full Moon Investments, LLC’s Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member. David is responsible for the financial assessment and valuation of target cannabis company investments, the development and negotiation of debt and equity deal structures, and raising investment capital from accredited investors. David is part of the investment committee for Full Moon.
David also serves as Chief Investment Officer of Extra Brilliant Group Management Greenville, SC (“EBG”), where he develops debt and equity structures for self storage and multifamily real estate investments, and secures bank debt and raises investment capital from accredited investors pursuant to those structures. The present existing and pipeline developments approximate $100 million.
David is the founder and Managing Member of P&V Partners, LLC a consulting company engaged in investment, business and valuation consulting, debt and equity capital raises, and financings. Also, since 2014, Profit & Value Partners has raised capital and consulted companies in the medical marijuana industry including Holistic Remedies, LLC, Organic Wellness, LLC, and Holistic Industries, Inc.
Over the last 20 years, David has completed dozens of debt and equity capital engagements totaling in excess of $250 million in a variety of industries. These engagements have included debt and equity capital raises, refinancings, surety bonding programs, debt restructuring and workouts, and recapitalizations.
David was formerly a Principal, shareholder, and founding employee of Homrich Berg Wealth Management, a Barron’s Top 50 Wealth Management firm in Atlanta, Georgia (www.homrichberg.com). At Homrich Berg, David was responsible for a $125 million personal client discretionary portfolio of liquid and illiquid investment assets, and due diligence, evaluation, and structuring of all private equity deals for the firm. Investments consisted of existing and start-up businesses in a variety of industries and all real estate sectors.
David is a Chartered Financial Analyst “CFA” and a member of the CFA Institute and the South Carolina Society of Chartered Financial Analysts.
David received his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of South Carolina, finishing at the top of his class in both programs.
